One of the most popular rappers around the world, Daystar Shemuel Shua Peterson, better known as Tory Lanez, proceeded to shock the world with his impeccable style translated through his music.
But, even though the popular rapper provided us with something interesting to listen to, his fans and other people quickly shifted the focus from his success to his height after his arrest, back in 2020.
Prior to the arrest that happened because of an altercation at a social gathering, Tory claimed to be 5’7, but the official information from the Los Angeles police department suggests otherwise.
According to the Los Angeles police department report, Tory Lanez is 5 feet 3 inches and weighs 120lb.

So what really happened there, and was the Los Angeles police department actually wrong? Well, if you ask me, I seriously doubt that the official police report would be false, but who am I to judge, right?

So, after the initial arrest of Tory Lanez that happened because of an altercation at a social gathering in 2020, people started to think that the popular rapper might be actually lying about his height.
I mean, lying about one’s height is something that we saw way too many times, whether that being a celebrity or simply someone you know, we can all agree that’s something that happens from time to time.
So, from my perspective, I can’t really blame Tory for being insecure about his height, especially with all the narrative that’s happening in the US that women like tall men more than short ones.

But either way, I also can’t justify Tory for lying about his height either, simply because all of us have been made just the way we are, and I think there is no point in lying about one’s height or weight.
So, to get back on the topic, my man Tory claimed to be 5’7, and no one even thought about questioning him prior to the arrest.
The whole fuss actually began when the official LA PD report was leaked saying that Tory’s actual height was 5’3 and 120lb.
At that moment the whole internet started to joke about Tory Lanez’s height. I mean, it is not appropriate to laugh at other people, but I must admit I laughed a little after someone posted a video of Tory Lanez sitting in a chair at a press conference, I think, and after he studs up, he was still the same height.
Again I’m going to say that it really doesn’t matter how tall or short you are, the only thing you need to worry about is what kind of a person you are and nothing else.
You will always find people that will say a bunch of negative stuff regardless of the situation and the best thing you can do is not let them get you, simple as that.
Therefore, I seriously hope that this fuss about Tory’s height will slowly fade over a period of time and in the meantime I wish for Tory to overcome his insecurities and just be himself.
