Gwyneth Paltrow Announces Retirement: “No One Will Ever See Me Again”

Actress Gwyneth Paltrow, although only 51 years old, is already planning her retirement and promises that after she stops acting, “no one will see her anymore.”

In an interview for Bustle magazine, she talked about her professional plans, which clearly will have nothing to do with future on-camera projects.

“I will literally disappear from public life. No one will ever see me again,” says Paltrow. Instead of acting, Gwyneth plans to focus on her lifestyle brand Goop, which creates products in the areas of beauty, fashion, wellness, food, and home.

Among other things, Paltrow has already launched items like a vampire-repellent spray, a candle with the scent of a woman thing, and a $10,000 vibrator made of 24-karat gold. However, it seems that the business is going well, according to Paltrow.

She enjoys “being creative, working in a team, being excited about new ideas, being innovative, thinking ahead.” But clearly, she needs more time. “I’m at a stage where I feel like things are even more chaotic because I’m very busy. Both my son and stepson are in high school, and sometimes it feels like schooling is a full-time job in itself,” she says.

Paltrow, with her former husband Chris Martin, has two children, Apple and Moses. Since 2018, she has been married to American screenwriter and director Brad Falchuk (52), who brought two more children into the marriage.

Paltrow takes care of household matters herself. However, there’s also “a lot going on” in her company, so sometimes she’s stretched to her limits. “I thought I would settle down in my fifties for some reason. I have no idea why I thought that would happen,” said the actress.
