The Drama Has Arrived!
“Selling Sunset” Season 6 premiered two days ago and, believe it or not, it’s already making headlines with its elevated drama. Jason Oppenheim, the star of the reality show, revealed that he’s “still recovering” from all the season’s ups and downs.
During an interaction with Page Six at the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix, Oppenheim, a prominent realtor and a key figure in the show, shared that he had watched the latest season just the night before. Laughing, he commented, “We’re still recovering,” which suggests this season has been one wild ride.
His co-star and ex-girlfriend, Mary Fitzgerald, added fuel to the fire by stating, “It’s probably going to be the best season. The drama is double what we’ve ever seen before.” Knowing the high level of drama “Selling Sunset” usually offers, this season seems to have really upped the ante.
Amidst all the drama, a new addition to the cast is making waves. Model-turned-realtor Bre Tiesi was praised by Fitzgerald as an “amazing addition.” Tiesi, the mother to a son with Nick Cannon and a new entrant in the real estate business, joined the cast in August 2022.

In an interview with People magazine, Tiesi expressed her excitement about transitioning from modeling to real estate. She loves to work, she said, and feels no pressure to prove herself in her new role.
However, the new addition didn’t come without some apprehension. Fitzgerald initially had reservations. “I was a little worried when she first came,” Fitzgerald admitted to Design Scene. However, she has since changed her tune and anticipates a “very interesting dynamic” with Tiesi onboard.
The just-premiered season also dive into the personal life of Chrishell Stause, an original cast member. This season gives viewers a glimpse of Stause’s evolving relationship with Australian singer G Flip, who identifies as non-binary. Stause’s major life moments have been a constant feature of the show, and it seems this season is no exception.
Just two days in, Season 6 of “Selling Sunset” seems to be a rollercoaster of emotions with new faces, relationships, and, of course, ever-present drama.
