Travis Fimmel Net Worth

As of 2024, Travis Fimmel’s net worth is estimated to be around 13 Million dollars.

Fimmel’s current net worth is the result of his years of learning and working hard in the fields of modeling and acting.

These two major careers helped him to earn global fame. In his latest interview, Fimmel notes that he doesn’t really care where his career takes him or if it changes in the future since his goal has always been to keep the family farm going.

How much was Travis Fimmel paid for the Vikings?

Spoiler alert: There is not a single soul who hasn’t cried their eyes out after the horrendous death of Ragnar Lothbrok.

Fimmel’s portrayal of the character was so lovable and handsome that fans were in love and they were quick to forgive Ragnar every time he made a really bad mistake (and fans will agree that there were a lot of those).

As the main character in almost all the seasons of Vikings, Fimmel’s earnings per episode were the highest of all the actors, which was $400,000.

Other actors of the series who earned the same $400,000 amount per episode are Katheryn Winnick (Lagertha Lothbrok), Gustaf Skarsgard (Floki) and a few others, while the rest of the crew earned around $150,000 – $200,000 per episode.

His dream job

Although his roles in TV shows and movies are becoming increasingly popular, Travis didn’t dream of becoming an actor at any point.

His wish was to become a successful Australian football player.

He played for the St Kilda Football Club within the AFL, which can be considered a pretty successful start.

However, Fimmel’s football career lasted shortly due to a leg injury.

He was sidelined from the season and soon after, he got offered some rather different opportunities – acting and modeling.

Modeling career

Fimmel’s career as a model kicked off while he was seen in the gym during his workout.

He was spotted by a close friend of Matthew Anderson, who is the talent guide for the Chadwick Models agency.

In the next couple of years, Fimmel’s good appearance and athletic body landed him a job for Calvin Klein, where (to his female fans’ delight) he did underwear commercials.

Welcome to Hollywood

Apart from his modeling career, he quickly became famous for appearing on some top-rating American TV shows from 2003 – 2010, such as Jimmy Kimmel Live!, The Sharon Osbourne Show; Jimmy Fallon show, MTV’s Total Request Live, etc.

Fimmel’s fans will also always remember his role in a TV series called The Beast, where he acted alongside late Patrick Swayze.

Another one of his popular acting jobs was a role in the film titled Warcraft, and his latest role as Marcus in a TV series named Raised By Wolves, a post-apocalyptic series worth watching.
